NEEDLES:

set dpns in size US 4 [3.5 mm] or 32" or longer circular in size US 4 [3.5 mm]

GAUGE:

25 sts and 32 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking

NOTES:

Hat is knitted from the bottom up, beginning flat with a garter stitch trim, shaped with short rows. Stitches cast on for front brim are added, then hat is continued in the round to top of crown.
